Program Overview

EXPLORE is a series of career-focused activities that help students to discover their skills and interests and match those with careers that would be a good “fit” for them. Some of the activities are led by their classroom teachers, but the really unique component to EXPLORE is the College Ambassador program. 

EXPLORE learning activities are hands-on and interactive and are divided into 6 themes:

• EXPLORE Your Interests
• EXPLORE the Cost of Living
• EXPLORE Your Options
• EXPLORE Your Future
• EXPLORE the Campus

Carefully trained College Ambassadors visit classes of students in Grades 8, 9, 10 and 11 and facilitate career-exploration activities that are hands-on, interactive, relevant and fun!

Middle and High School teachers are provided with a Teacher Activity Guide that provides more than 25 additional recommended career-education activities that are fully reproducible and easy to complete with students.
